Supply Chain Officer (M/F)

GRIMONPREZ TRANSMISSION GEARS – GTG, a reliable and well-established player in the manufacturing of gears and transmission components, specialized in small to medium production series. In order to further optimize our production process, we are looking for the following position for our production site in Dottignies:

Supply Chain Officer (M/F)

Reporting directly to the management of a dynamic SME, you ensure the availability of parts, materials, and equipment required for production. Your dual objective is to save time and reduce lead times in order to optimize customer service.

Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; minimum BAC +3
Initial experience in Supply Chain is an asset
Knowledge and mastery of Planning
Understanding of Industrial and Mechanical activities
Knowledge of storage regulations and workplace safety
Good command of English (and/or other languages)
Proficiency in the role of Prevention Advisor Level III
Ability to use ERP systems, Excel, Outlook
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset
Rigorous, with strong analytical skills
Autonomous and available

Responsibilities

CUSTOMER ORDERS & PROCUREMENT

Receive and enter customer orders into our ERP system (creation of customers, items, and orders) and send order confirmations with delivery times
Validate pricing according to subcontracting commercial offers (unit price, costs, requested quantities, etc.)
Calculate requirements and communicate them to suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor lead times and follow up with suppliers and subcontractors as needed
Organize the receipt of goods

PLANNING & PRODUCTION

Create production files and establish capacity planning in coordination with the Production Manager
Manage subcontracting activities
Monitor the progress of production orders and proactively communicate updates to customers
Ensure on-time delivery by anticipating production and transport constraints
Manage and follow up on customer portals (RCCP, etc.)

SHIPPING & INVENTORY

Manage, optimize, and inventory raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, and packaging
Manage and optimize parts packaging in collaboration with the Quality Department
Organize the shipment of finished goods, manage transport orders and transport documentation
Optimize shipping and packaging costs
