For our newest facility in advanced materials, we’re looking for:

SENIOR RESEARCHER/ENGINEER CERAMIC MATERIALS

You’ll join the FERONYL family as specialist in Material Scientist/Chemist to develop the most advanced ceramic metallic powder materials in the broad sense of composites. You’ll research and develop new material formulation within the scope of composites for powder injection molding, additive manufacturing or any relevant process. Your expertise in the research of such materials will be held in a state-of-the-art environment with the most advanced equipment.

Profile:

• Scientist/Engineer
  
• Master in Chemistry, Materials, Heat treatment processes or any relevant experience
  
• Fluent English and French and/or Dutch

Mission:

• Leading Research & Development materials activities with Aerospace customers, universities and Research Institutes.
  
• Developing material formulations following within the scope of powder materials
  
• Realize processing methods to englobe production plant capabilities with tools as Additive Manufacturing, Powder Injection Molding, Compression molding, Spark Plasma Sintering, …
  
• Use of internal Heat Treatment furnaces, DRX, laser diffraction,...
  
• Start from existing material formulation and enhance new alloys performances
  
• Follow-up the research program and integrate into industrial processes through a strong methodological approach
  
• Leading the development activities with a “CAN DO” mindset
