Feronyl has been a specialist in injection molding, the development of technical plastic, metal & composite parts, and tooling manufacturing since 1950. We are currently looking for a:
R&D Project Engineer (M/F)
You will be responsible for reviewing customer specifications, standards and procedures, as well as studying, proposing and validating tooling concepts.
Profile:
- You are an Industrial Engineer in Plastics Engineering or hold a degree in plastics processing
- You have a good understanding of technical drawings
- You have a logical mindset with a technical and hands-on approach
- Computer file management holds no secrets for you (reference management, drawing revisions, documentation, etc.)
- You have basic knowledge of 2D and 3D industrial design
- You are recognized for your interpersonal skills (teamwork as well as customer contact)
- You are organized, autonomous and demonstrate leadership skills
- You are fluent in French, English and Dutch
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience in injection molding and tooling design
Responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications, standards and procedures
- Study, propose and validate tooling concepts
- Select raw materials
- Design tooling
- Request quotations
- Prepare quotation files (tooling and parts)
- Prepare production documentation (methods / operating procedures)
- Provide technical support in the workshop
- Manage data within an ERP system
