R&D Materials Technician (M/F)

For our newest facility in advanced materials, we’re looking for:

R&D MATERIALS TECHNICIAN (M/F) 

You’ll join the FERONYL family as specialist in Powder Materials, to develop and produce the most advanced ceramic metallic powder materials in the broad sense of composites. You’ll develop and manufacture new material formulation within the scope of composites for powder injection molding, additive manufacturing or any relevant process. Your expertise in the research of such materials will be held in a state-of-the-art environment with the most advanced equipment.

Profile: 

• Engineer/Technician with relevant expertise in powder metallurgy
  
• Knowledge of powder materials as metals and ceramics
  
• Fluent English, French and/or Dutch

Mission: 

• Setting up processes in a new and high-tech environment within the EN9100 aerospace certification
  
• Create and manufacture new formulations and keep product specifications high
  
• Co-operation with internal operations team to produce the mixtures and set-up the injection molding
  
• Setting-up the internal analysis of the materials on each production step
  
• Use and maintain DRX and other relevant material analysis equipment
  
• You’ll operate in a cleanroom environment to develop state-of the art processes and materials
  
• Organize the workspace within Lean and 5S principles
