Logistics Officer (M/F)
GRIMONPREZ TRANSMISSION GEARS – GTG, a reliable and well-established player in the manufacturing of gears and transmission components, specialized in small to medium production series. In order to further optimize our production process, we are looking for the following position for our production site in Dottignies:
Logistics Officer (M/F)
Reporting directly to the management of a dynamic SME, you ensure the availability of parts, materials, and equipment required for production. Your dual objective is to save time and reduce lead times in order to optimize customer service.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; minimum BAC +3
- Initial experience in Transport / Logistics is an asset
- Knowledge and mastery of Planning
- Understanding of Industrial and Mechanical activities
- Knowledge of storage regulations and workplace safety
- Good command of English (and/or other languages)
- Proficiency in the role of Prevention Advisor Level III
- Ability to use ERP systems, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset
- Rigorous, with strong analytical skills
- Autonomous and available
Responsibilities
- SALES AND PLANNING
-Plan and anticipate production according to customer needs and orders
-Validate prices based on commercial offers
-Enter orders into the ERP system and send order and lead-time confirmations
-Prepare manufacturing and packaging files
-Launch production files for repetitive parts
-Manage subcontracting
-Monitor the progress of manufacturing orders and ensure customer follow-up
-Guarantee delivery dates by anticipating production and transport constraints
- SHIPPING & INVENTORY
-Manage and optimize stock levels and ensure inventory control
-Manage and optimize parts packaging
-Organize the shipment of finished products, manage transport orders and transport documentation
-Optimize shipping and packaging costs
- PREVENTION ADVISOR / HSE
-Assist and advise the employer in applying measures set out in the law on well-being at work
-Lead the Internal Service for Prevention and Protection at Work
-Ensure relations with the External Service for Prevention and Protection at Work and the occupational physician
