CAM Programmer (M/F)

Based in Mouscron, TECNOLON WORKS is looking for:

Reporting to the management of a dynamic SME, you will design and develop CAM programs; you will program the machine tool in order to carry out the specified machining operations. Based on a mechanical drawing of the part to be manufactured, you will prepare a detailed description of the tools to be used and the type of machining to be performed.

Under the supervision of a qualified professional in this field, you will be supported in working on 3D part milling programming, first on 3 axes and later on 5 axes.

Profile:

Education in mechanics: High school diploma; Vocational diploma; Technical degree; A2
Technical secondary education diploma or at least 5 years of experience with programming
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Knowledge of CNC milling programming
Proficiency in measurement and inspection tools
Knowledge of CAM software (Esprit) & CAD for 3D mechanical design (SolidWorks)
Knowledge of standard CNC programming languages (Heidenhain is a plus)
Independent / Stress-resistant / Flexible
Motivated by achieving results and teamwork
Languages: French, English (Dutch is an asset)

Function:

Design and draft technical solutions
Develop tooling related to the design of the part to be produced
Select the most suitable tools and correctly set machining parameters
Generate the instruction file
Enter the instructions into the machine tool
Test the program and verify the CNC machine operation
Intervene during the machining cycle to adjust the program in case of errors
